How to Get Attention?

Desperate? Pfft.


Here are a few general steps to get the attention of anyone...I guess. If these methods don't seem to work or sound stupid, don't try it then!




Methods
1. By Sound
One of the ways to get attention is by a loud noise or sound that will force everyone else to stop what they're doing and focus their attention on you. If you make them feel interested, they will then continue to give more attention to you. Kids love to use this against parents, they shout, scream, weep and cry.









2. Eye Contack
Eye Contact + Attack = Eye Contack
Just maintain a short moment of eye contact to the person you want and the person is bound to focus on you. The power of eye contacks are that you engrave a meaning in the way you look, so you make the other person think. You can make people shut up and think of you when you do this good enough.









3. Confident Feel
Walk with your disco shoes with the song Stayin' Alive on your Walkman. People will look at you! Nah...this is basically to show confidence, maybe in the way you walk, talk or feel. People tend to have more attention towards charismatic and confident people. Make sure you talk, and say something charming that people will like. It makes you stand out.









4. Smile / Be Cute!
Obvious. Yes, people like it.






5. Amazement
Do something amazing, or at least "unintentionally" let them know. If you can draw, you can dance, let people know. People like to see talent and something different, so if you can do something, at least talk about it! People will then seek you if they need to know more about what you do.









6. Be Relaxing
You can crack some nice jokes, and be humorous to others. When people feel relaxed with you, they generally like you more. Comedians get a lot of attention from crowds.

How to Get a Guy / Girl in IM?

I don't know how I would put this post title but, this is on how to get a guy or a girl in instant messaging.


This sounds desperate and dumb but there are some people who would like to chase after someone but just don't have the guts or chance to do it in real life. So online seems to be another choice.



Getting The Contact
You can have many ways to get your contact's e-mail. Be it through a friend, through social networks, blogs, or basically anything. By surfing randomly in Facebook you could find someone maybe your friend knows as well and so on. Say that you're a friend of your friend's contact and have similar interests. State the reason why you're adding, e.g just to make friends.

Some people you could meet through games, and ask for their e-mail.

Nico is one of my contacts I got through gaming.

General Steps
1. Chat generally.
Talk about how you found that person to add as your contacts, talk nicely and be polite. Introduce yourself and maybe let the person know more about yourself so that he/she feels comfortable with you.


2. Ask a few general questions, get to know.
Now you've introduced yourself, and talked a bit, you could get to know each other. Like say...share your hobbies, interests, ideas, gossips and everything else. As you talk more and share more, you will understand more about each other's personality, mindset and even lifestyle. (So you can decide to ditch that person now, before you regret!)

Nico made a nice biodata of herself to show me although we haven't met each other yet.

3. Relax and hold back.
No one wants to be asked out or being known too much on the first day. So be sure not to talk too much until you touch a sensitive subject. Just keep it for the next time and go slow. Come back every 2 days, then everyday.


4. Play games!
After all that boring mumbo-jumbo conversations, it's time to have some fun with each other. Play some games with each other and eventually let him/her win. Crack some jokes and bully each other a bit while having fun. Your contact will feel that you're a very friendly and amusing person, aside from all that kind and politeness charm you gave merely through words.

You can also play the game called "20 Questions", where you question each other 20 question about their lives and there'd be no lying.

Yeah, she says I love you too! in MSN...and she didn't even knew how I looked that time.

5. Now, realise how your contact feels about you.
By now you should look for signs whether your contact likes you or not. If your contact really only wants to make friends, or had someone else in mind, or did not believe in online relationships, you could still try to convince that person that you're better than the people he/she knows.

If you face such problems, you have to go slowly and keep being that person's best friend. If she comes after you and starts conversations, advise you about your life, send you lots of e-mails and stuff like that, it might mean that she is attracted to you.

Nico did this in her wood project showing her love to me, although we haven't even met.

6. Ask out!
Now you're so happy and having fun with that person, it's time for you to actually meet up. Maybe go by a casual saying to meet up with a bunch of friends. Normally if your contact has no confidence, he/she will not go out alone with you.

Success. After 1 year and 9 months together, we finally were able to meet in Genting for our first date and kiss.

Once you succeeded asking your contact out, means you've gained some trust of your contact. From there onwards, it's all about repeating the steps and making yourself seem better and irresistable by having the same interests, same kind of thinking and put in some effort to make situations where both of you could get a spark.

It sounds dangerous huh, if I were a pedophile or a grifter, how would you think Nico would end up? So ladies, please be careful when you date online. The person you're trying to date might not be real. Luckily Nico met a guy so innocent and true like me...and luckily I met her as well.

How to Write Love Poems?

Writing a poem for your lover can be ever so difficult!


Most lovers would really like to write something passionate and heart-melting to express their deep love towards their partner. However, some of us run out of ideas of what to write and how to write.

Get started with a pencil and a paper.

Portray The Meaning of Your Poem
The main theme of your poem is anything about your partner or your love. Then, for each stanza, it can be your lover's beauty, personality or the things you did together. It can also be about your relationship and love towards your lover.

Know what you have to write about. Then, know what meanings you need to let your lover know in the poem.


Example:
You want to write to Lily that you feel relaxed with her.

Meaning to Portray
- I feel calm when you're around.





Substitute Words / Write Lovely Words
Now you have your meaning, you would want to substitute certain words, or rewrite a sentence that is more lovely and attractive. Your sentence can be a complex sentence, or with the usage of objects to express. It can also contain "hidden" meanings. Exaggerate a little bit and show how much you really mean when you wrote it.


Example:
Meaning to Portray - I feel calm when you're around.
Sentence - Your presence invoked bliss.


When making these sentence it is important to know that you can also use metaphors, personifications, similes, idioms, slang and others.

A letter filled with love is a letter with romantic poems.

Writing Progression In Your Poem
When you write in a stanza, you want everything to link together and it's based on something. If you write like say...


You were walking with one shoe,
And with every step my heart paced,
The sky ripples are so blue,
Like how the blue in your eyes interlaced.


It may sound nice but there is no connection in what you're trying to say. Lily was walking with one shoe (it might had really happened on a date) and with every step your heart paced, is good. Then it suddenly switched to how the sky is, and it's like her eyes. No link.

It's best that you continue on after how every step your heart paced, maybe say about how graceful she can become even if she's walking with one shoe, walking like a duck and maybe in one of her most embarassing moments. Example continuation...


I didn't help but stood like a statue,
I was dazed as even so you still graced.


This explains how graceful Lily could be until she had you stunned like a statue, not only in that situation, but possibly almost all situations.

Simple and nice with a smooth flow will look beautiful.

Using a Set Number of Syllables or Words
This is not really important when writing your own poem. However, if you want to make your poem more lovely, you can write a set number of words or syllables for each line. That way, when you say out your poem, you will get a lovely flow and sounds neat.

Lesser words forces you to be even more creative and unique in your writing. Portraying a meaning strongly by using only a few words is always powerful and lovely.




Rhyming
Although you have gotten your meanings to portray, you still need to rhyme it at the end of each line. Make your first two lines first, then after you thought the meanings of the last two lines, think of a word that rhymes.


Example:
Your presence invoked bliss,
Without effort just like magic,

3rd Line Keyword - kiss
Sentence - As with every single kiss,

4th Line Keyword - panic
Sentence - I grew less panic.

Long Distance Relationship

Tips for keeping a long distance relationship going.

Long distance relationships can be very painful and harsh to go on with your partner. Here are a few simple tips though.


Short and Simple Tips
1. Always trust your partner.
You cannot see your partner, and you might not know what your partner does, but just trust your partner. There's no point doubting your partner for cheating on you while you don't know anything. Just believe your partner and hold strong to your relationship as promised.

2. Always keep in touch.
Always keep in touch to make the distance seem shorter. Tell your partner about the little things that you did everyday, it means a lot and it keeps your partner happy. There are many means of communication such as e-mails, phone and so on. If your partner is living somewhere far away with a different time zone, you could pick a time where both of you are free or just send e-mails.

3. Build a strong relationship.
You might have been always missing your partner and have been waiting for years just to meet your partner, so you need to have a very strong plinth in your relationship, which you can continue to build. Let your imagination run wild! Send gifts, e-mails, letters, cards, drawings, play online games together, anything that you can think of to be romantic. Record your stupidity while expressing your love in public, or create an abstract/poster about how your love started and how the story goes up until now. Remember, every single thing you do, your partner will like it that's for sure. Go crazy over each other and stay away from other attractions.

4. Sacrifice and commitment.
Don't be a coward and start sacrificing some time or take risks to contact your partner, or at least send a mail. Love is all about commitment and sacrifice, and you're bound to do it. No matter how busy you are, a simple call would suffice, even if it is for a few minutes. It's always better to call and chat about everything you do, crack some lame jokes and make yourself comfortable. Understand your partner, and always give some time for each other. Do things to attract your partner. (Girls always love to be chased)

5. Understanding.
Understand each other, and solve all problems in your relationship. Do not argue about the same thing over and over. If you see a problem, say it, and work it out together. Couples are a team, and both of you are at the same level. A team must always work together.
